The Alumni and Development Office invited alumnus Chan Ka Chon (Class of 2009, B.A. in Marketing), a TV host of TDM to be the guest speaker of the “Alumni Chat Hour” and paid a visit to the Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College (HFPJC). Around 25 RC students attended the sharing.
Jun started the story of how he entered the emcee industry and shared working experience in TDM as well as the sharing of career opportunities, making choices and his overcoming of challenges. He also shared some tips on how to be a good emcee, how to sharpen presentation skills and how to handle contingencies. At last, he encouraged students to participate in more extra-curriculum activities in order to broaden their social networks and knowledge. Students learnt a lot from him during the tea and had a wonderful meeting.
