“2022/2023 Alumni Mentorship Scheme” which is co-organized by the Alumni and Development Office and Career Development Centre of Student Affairs Office, are now recruiting alumni who are passionate to join us as our alumni mentor. UM alumni are welcome to join and assist the Alma Mater to nurture young talents by sharing your experience and insight on further study, career direction or life planning with our students.
Eligibility: UM alumni with at least 3 years of work experience
Scheme details:
- The scheme lasts for about four months, which aims to promote interaction between mentors and mentees throughout a series of activities. It also provides opportunities for students to broaden their social networks and get to know more about the current trend of different industries; at the same time to foster alumni mentors’ sense of belonging and encourage them to give back to the Alma Mater in a practical way.
- Alumni and with students will be matched based on their backgrounds, majors and interests. Alumni will be participated as mentors to share their experiences and give advice to their student mentees.
- Mentors and mentees can contact each other via their preferred methods (E.g. meeting, phone call, social media applications, etc.) to foster the communication and build up a friendly relationship.
