The Alumni and Development Office (ADO) met with the representatives of 15 alumni associations on January 9 (Saturday) to discuss issues related to the celebratory activities for the 40th anniversary of UM. Ms. Grace Chau, Director of Office of Sports Affairs (OSA), was also invited to the sharing session to introduce the sport-related activities to the representatives.
In addition to reviewing the suggestions of the previous session, ADO also introduced the major celebratory activities to be held to the representatives. Representatives affirmed the activity plans, put forward many collaboration plans and expressed that they will fully support and assist ADO to implement the proposed activities.
Ms. Cindy Lam, Director of ADO, thanked the representatives for attending the sharing session and their valuable suggestions. She hoped that all alumni associations would collaborate closely with ADO, give full play to their roles as communication bridges between alumni and the alma mater and facilitate the development of UM through encouraging alumni to contribute to their alma mater in various capacities.
