UM has successfully developed a device called Digifluidic (Virus Hunter). It can be used for medical diagnosis and food safety testing. It is a portable device that allows medical professionals to determine the cause of illnesses of people living in remote rural areas so that the patients can receive prompt and accurate treatment.
