The “2022/2023 Alumni Mentorship Scheme” (AMS), which was co-organized by the Alumni and Development Office (ADO) and the Career Development Centre (CDC), has officially kicked off in September 2022. To enhance communications between alumni mentors and student mentees, ADO and CDC organized the VR experiences and a tea gathering session on 22 October 2022 (Saturday) at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. Mentors and mentees both expressed that this was a meaningful team building activity as they can enjoy the multi-sensory stimulating experience from the virtual world and share experiences to enhance mutual understanding, both parties were looking forward to seeing each other in the upcoming group activity.
“Alumni Mentorship Scheme” aims to encourage alumni to give back to their Alma Mater through giving advice, and sharing their work and life experiences with the mentees. Moreover, it also creates opportunities for mentees to broaden their social networks through communicating with mentors from different professional sectors. This year, the scheme runs from September 2022 to January 2023. During the period, mentors and mentees will be invited to join a series of exciting group activities to enhance their engagement in the scheme.
