The ‘STEM 40’ project, jointly organised by the Centre for Science and Engineering Promotion (CSEP) and Alumni and Development Office (ADO), has officially kicked off in November 2021. In order to enrich students’ experience, CSEP and ADO organized the industrial visits to alumni companies: Funny Eye Brewery and AS King Medical Products Limited  on 15 & 16 December 2021, with over 30 student/teacher participants from secondary schools. Students also took the opportunity to communicate with alumni, learn the business or technical difficulties of the companies, and share their innovative ideas.

As part of the activities in celebration of the university’s 40th anniversary , the project will last from November 2021 to March 2022. For more information about the project, please visit https://umstem.um.edu.mo/ .

Alumna Crystal Kwok , one of the founders of Funny Eye Brewery, shared the entrepreneurial story and introduced brewing process.

Alumnus Danny Chau ,one of the founders of AS King Medical Factory Ltd.,  shared the entrepreneurial story and introduced the manufacturing process of face masks.
