The “2022 May Fourth Basketball Youth Cup” (co-organized by UM Alumni Association and Bank of China (BOC) Macau Branch Sports Association, supported by BOC Macau Branch, UM Office of Sports Affairs and UM Alumni and Development Office) was eventually ended on 24 Apr at UM Sports Complex (N8) Training Hall.
The opening ceremony was held at UM Sports Complex on 24 Apr. Mr. Ieong Chi Kuong, President of BOC Macau Branch Sports Association, delivered an opening speech appreciating the support of UM Alumni and Development Office for organizing this basketball invitational. He mentioned that this was a good opportunity for the participants to motivate themselves to reach their full potentials in sports.
While Dr. Ao Peng Kong, Chairman of the General Assembly of AAAUM, delivered an opening speech expressing his gratitude to UM Alumni and Development Office, and BOC Macau Branch for supporting this basketball invitational and hoping every participant could enjoy in the competition.
A total of 3 UMer teams (澳門大學校友會, 澳大仁義隊 and 澳大禮信隊) had participated in this invitational competition and placed the Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up respectively.
