Alumni Associations

UM alumni network spreads over the world. Currently, there are 19 alumni associations established with their name endorsed by the University to use “University of Macau” as prefix. These associations are initiated and formed by alumni from different regions, faculties, departments, or with different interests. Even bearing the name of the University, they are self-financed entities that operate independently from the University. ADO maintains close connection with all alumni associations to foster alumni relations and promote university’s advancement.

Apart from serving as the bridge of communication between alumni and their alma mater, alumni associations are also an important channel for the cooperation between alumni and their alma mater. Through their wide exposures, professional knowledge, personal networks and resources, alumni can support and give back to their alma mater in different aspects. In addition, alumni associations are also responsible for promoting the image of their alma mater through external publicity; they are serving as platforms to share university information and assisting in expanding alumni networks.

By joining any alumni associations, you can stay connected with your alma mater and interact with other alumni fellows, to expand your personal network and get involved in advancing the development of the alma mater.
