ADO hosted the “2025 Alumni Day – Alumni Associations Reunion” on 18 Oct at UM, with 100+ alumni called upon by the Alumni Associations. By organizing activities with individual alumni associations, it further solidified the theme of the activity being “Reunion” of Alumni Associations.
The event opening was held at the CYTC, where Prof. Rui Martins (VRGA) gave a remark highlighting UM’s 4-in-1 education for talent cultivation, the new Hengqin campus update, and UM’s 45th anniversary celebration in 2026.
The reunion included a series of activities, some of which were in collaboration with individual alumni associations. Several sports competitions were organized with AAAUM and UMASA, whereas a workshop was organized with UMSUAA. Meanwhile, Prof. Alfred Wong, Interim Master of CYTC, presented a talk entitled “ESG: Starting in the Residential College” and related workshops were held afterwards, showcasing the integration of ESG concepts in the college entrepreneurship programs. Furthermore, RC visits and an afternoon tea brought firsthand experience of college life.
Finally, a reunion dinner was held at Grand Plaza on the campus. The evening was filled with a joyful atmosphere, where alumni reminisced the good old times and shared life moments, putting a perfect close for the gathering.
