The “2024/2025 Alumni Mentorship Scheme” (AMS), which was co-organized by the Alumni and Development Office (ADO) and the Career Development Centre (CDC) of Student Affairs Office, has officially kicked off in September 2024. To enhance communications between alumni mentors and student mentees, ADO and CDC organized a visit to the Customs of Macao SAR on 19 October 2024 (Saturday).
Through the activity, participants were able to learn about the maritime rescue work and maritime duty of the Customs of Macao SAR. Mentors and mentees both expressed that during the visit, they had gained a deeper understanding about the work of the Customs of Macao SAR. Meanwhile, they can share experiences to enhance mutual understanding during the interaction, both parties were looking forward to seeing each other in the upcoming group activity.
“Alumni Mentorship Scheme” aims to encourage alumni to give back to their Alma Mater through giving advice, and sharing their work and life experiences with the mentees. Moreover, it also creates opportunities for mentees to broaden their social networks through communicating with mentors from different professional sectors.
