The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Science and Engineering Promotion and Alumni and Development Office jointly held an award presentation ceremony for the BOC STEM Talent Challenge. The competition was sponsored by the BOC Macau. The organisers hope to develop secondary school students’ interdisciplinary skills and inspire them to create innovative projects for the community, and at the same time, provide inspiration for technological innovation to local micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The entries covered a wide range of fields including pharmacy, services, biology, and environmental protection. 10 out of 34 projects from 9 secondary schools were awarded this year.
