The Alumni Association of University of Macau Students’ Union (AAUMSU) was established and inaugurated in November 2018. The Inaugural Ceremony was held on 14 November 2018. AAUMSU would like to serve as a platform to ally more alumni in helping the young talents to contribute to the development of Macau community and the Greater Bay Area; as well as contributing to the prosperity of the country. They wished that alumni and students will take up more active role as developers in the progress of the country’s reform and opening up in this new era.
The first board members of AAUMSU was officially inaugurated under the leadership of the Founding Chairman, Mr. Chan Chon Pat and Mr. Cheong Hok Sam. The vow was witnessed by the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Dr. Tam Chon Weng, the Deputy Director General of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR, Mr. Xue Xiaofeng and the Rector, Prof. Yonghua Song.
